Jake's Recommended CyberTruck Accessories Guide

JAKEe Custom Magnetic Magsafe Wireless iPhone Fast Charger Mount for iPhone

Jake's Recommended CyberTruck

 Interior and Bed Accessories Guide

I created this section for recommended accessories that I have personally purchased and used on my own CyberTruck, which I highly recommend!!! As an Amazon Associate I earn a small commission from qualifying purchases. In the future, I will update this guide by adding many more CyberTruck accessories, but for now I am going to just start with my Magsafe wireless charging solution:

JAKEe CyberTruck

Magsafe Dashboard Charging Mounts

Fit on the AC VENT

Being able to mount and Fast Charge my iPhone 17 Pro Max is essential in my CyberTruck. This mounting system in superb as it allows you to instantly rotate your smartphone from portrait to landscape easily and instantly. In landscape it's great for being able to watch YouTube video (not while driving ;-)

In portrait it's remarkable how useful and easy it is to use your iPhone like it's in your hand. (Once again, I don't NOT recommend you use it while you are driving ;-).

I experimented like crazy for many hours and came up with an amazing solution that is relatively inexpensive, but requires some simple knowledge of who to put everything together, which I cover in this section. This solution is very elegant and requires no glue and leaves no residue. This mounting system is injection molded and NOT 3-D printed.

The parts needed are:

-Special Magnetic CyberTruck Phone Mount.

The mount linked above is AMAZING and only costs around $12 on Amazon. Later on in this article, I will go over the easiest way to install it.

The image below shows what my wireless Magsafe fast charging solution looks like when you look at it from the front view.

I was initially concerned about how my solution would look aesthetically. I was not only concerned about the exposed pigtail cabling, as seen in the picture below, but also concerned about how the Anker wireless puck would look, but it's a non-issue as I never even notice it. The reason I strategically place the passenger side wireless charger on the far right side is it make it easy to hide the rest of the cable, which tucks away on the side of the dash to it's not visible. I am usually the driver in my CyberTruck, but on the rare occasions I am a passenger, I find this wireless charing solution and mount to be amazing. Particularly as you can use your phone easily for navigating around your phone UI while it's mounted.

Advice: There are other similar mounts to this one, which I tried and they were complete junk, so be certain to only purchase this model, which ironically is way less expensive that other models. Keep in mind, this is just a magnetic mount and will hold your Magsafe or Qi2 compatible phone in portrait or landscape, but will NOT charge it. If you want to add wireless charging, which make a great deal of sense, you will need the following parts:

----------------

-Anker Zolo Magnetic Magsafe Charger, with USB-C cable. Qi2 Certified wireless charing Pad for iPhone 17/16/15/14/13 Series. These come standard in a two pack, so you can mount one on the drivers side and one on the passengers side of your CyberTruck, which I highly recommend.

----------------

-OBD to USB-C Adapter. This is required to be able to plug your Anker Zolo Magsafe Charger in via USB-C.

The CyberTruck has an OBD port located under the left side of the drivers side dash, which you can seen in the image below. We will be plugging the drivers side wireless charger into this adapter, and despite the fact there is a USB-A female as well pictured above in the adapter I recommended, I think you are better off NOT using it for plugging in the passenger side charger, as the USB-C cable on the Anker charger is not long enough to reach this area, and also, if it were to fall down it could wreak havoc in the passenger cabin. So I you want to also install a second wireless charger, as I did, you are better off routing it back to plug it in to the rear center console USB-C female plug.

----------------

-Right Angle USB-C Extension Cable 6.6 feet long for plugging in passenger side wireless Magsafe mount. I recommend if you want to add a passenger side wireless charging mount to plug it in, via USB-C to the back of the center console, but running in under the front passenger seat floor matt, which is very easy to do. The adapter needed is pictured below.

The image below shows this special right-angle USB-C male adapter plugged in to the center console in the back seat of the CyberTruck. Basically, I routed it down the right side of the front dashboard by tucking it into the seam, then ran it down, under the front passenger floor matt, under the seat, and out the back as seen below.

----------------

-VHB Tape Kit. This will be used to semi-permanently attach the Anker Qi2 fast 15W wireless charger to the CyberTruck Phone Mount.

------------------------------------------------

My goal with my CyberTruck is to ONLY have accessories that are HIGHLY useful, and ultra low key. IF you were to get in my CyberTruck, almost all the storage accessories would be practically invisible, and not noticeable, which is by design.
