P85D v. P90D

P85D v. P90D Insane v. Ludicrous 
According to Tesla a P85D with "Insane" mode can accelerate from 0-60mph in 3.2 seconds. Conversely, a P90D with "Ludicrous" mode can achieve 0-60mph in 2.8 seconds. This video shows a P85D racing a P90D. 

The P85D driver gets a very slight head start, which makes all the difference in the world, in the sense it takes the P90D more than 10 seconds to catch-up and pass it.
The obvious moral of this story is so much of driving/racing has to do with the drivers reflexes, timing and driving skills.
